Stella guitars this fancy were never offered in the Schmidt catalog and had to be special ordered. This is the fanciest Stella that we have seen. The fingerboard is inlaid with an abalone vine or "tree-of-life", the rosette and inlaid Italianate pickguard are inlaid with designs comprised of silver, copper and mother-of-pearl. The rosewood back is adorned with an elaborate inlaid wood floral pattern.
