Towards the end of the 1930s, the Oscar Schmidt Company made some of their most interesting instruments. Seen here is a very rare Sovereign archtop guitar that looks as much like a cello as it does a guitar! It has a spruce top, maple sides and back and a rosewood fingerboard with a 25" scale.
